New Dungeon: Den of Nalorakk
Den of Nalorakk is now open on Normal, Heroic and Mythic. Use the portal outside, or join through the Dungeon Finder.
The Dungeon
The den is fully populated: patrols, wildlife and all trash abilities.
The Ethereal Pyres carry you between the central camp and the wings.
Waystones appear as you defeat bosses, so you can return after a wipe.
The story plays out along the way, with Zul’jarra and Loa Speaker Nanea.
Harsh Winds sweep across the den every 50 seconds and push players across the gust.
Keen-Eyed Screechers circle overhead and dive down when you get close to their berry bush.
The Hoardmonger
He sleeps until you feed all six Avatars of Starvation. Gather berries from the bushes and apples from the barrels, then place them as Food Offerings.
He uses Earthshatter Slam, Ravenous Bellow and Spoiled Supplies. The Rotten Mushrooms burst into Toxic Spores on contact, or fill the room with Putrid Burst if left alone.
Resourceful Measures: at 90%, 60% and 30% health, he gathers from one of his piles:
Bones grant Serrated Fists and Bonespike Slam.
Meat makes him Satiated, with Hearty Bellow.
Mushrooms give him Overflowing Supplies.
Sentinel of Winter
It rises from The Pale Eye after the Summoning Ritual.
Shattering Frostspike leaves Snowdrifts. Glacial Torment strikes two players, and Raging Squall sends storms across the room.
Frozen Tempest shields the Sentinel and pushes players away until the shield breaks.
Nalorakk
First, pass Loa Speaker Nanea’s trial in the arena. Then Zul’jarra awakens Nalorakk.
Echoing Maul leaves an Echo of Nalorakk wherever the tank stood, and every Echo mauls together with him.
Overwhelming Onslaught is reduced by 75% inside Zul’jarra’s Defensive Stance, and Forceful Roar pushes players back.
Fury of the War God: the Echoes charge Zul’jarra and stop at the first player in their way.
Once defeated, Nalorakk yields and the Chest of Proven Valor appears. Zul’jarra offers the way out.
Loot
The Hoardmonger and Sentinel of Winter drop gear at the retail rate, on average one item per five players.
The Chest of Proven Valor gives every player Nalorakk’s loot, decor and a rare recipe, at retail drop chances.
Trash drops its own loot.
